Our Story
Ankobra West Rural Bank Limited was established on May 16, 1977, as a limited liability company, with the mission to provide reliable and accessible banking services to rural communities in Ghana. Officially beginning operations on July 30, 1978, as the fourth rural bank in the country, Ankobra West Rural Bank has steadily grown to become one of the leading financial institutions in the Western Region of Ghana.
From humble beginnings, the bank has expanded its reach and services, catering to individuals, small businesses, farmers, and cooperatives. Over the years, Ankobra West Rural Bank has earned the trust of over 25,000 customers, playing a pivotal role in the economic development of rural communities. Our continued success lies in our ability to deliver customized financial solutions that address the unique needs of our clients.
